Don’t Be Shy
Sometimes as a model you have to drop your ego and approach the people you want to get noticed by. It’s possible that not everyone you approach will take you in but what matters is the effort that you put in. Don’t be shy; Be confident and wow them with your charm. If it’s one thing people admire the most, it’s confidence. Confidence has the ability to attract people, when you’re comfortable and are able to talk to people with ease, they will immediately take notice of you. Be Prepared
As a model who is waiting to be scouted, you should always be prepared. Do your research, understand what they are looking to see. They will admire the extra efforts you put in to get noticed. Have your portfolio ready at all times, know what kind of images they are looking for and put those in the front page. On another note, be sure that your portfolio is always updated. Show case your different styles and poses, prove them that you can do more than just one thing. As mentioned earlier being a model is not about just looking pretty in an outfit. You have to know to manage so many things. For example, when you’re walking for a runway event you may only be given 3 minutes to change into a new outfit and walk out looking like nothing happened. This may be something you might need to learn.
