How Do Malaysian Models Maintain Their Healthy Lifestyles?

Growing up as a girl, I have always admired models on television and through social media. I think I am not the only one as my girls would always scream and fangirl every time any of us mentioned any model’s name. Models are known for their beautiful faces and desirable bodies, they get attention from people anywhere they go, we adore them and usually, we girls would be crazy to not want to be them.

This is what the media wants us to see, unconsciously growing up it becomes our unreachable dreams. Why? How can we? That is why we are here because we can, we can reach these body goals. Models are no different to us, they are still human, they have their work stress and they still have their unreachable dreams. In this article, I would like to share with you guys how models maintain their healthy lifestyles even throughout their busy schedules. We can practice this together and get the body goals that we want to while practising healthy lifestyles.

 

 

We can start by practising good food intake and try to maintain your body weight. Proper food consumption can help you maintain a healthy weight especially while making sure that your growth and development are in good condition. You can start by adding food to your meal from every category in macronutrients which are carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, as well as micronutrients, like vegetables and fruits.

The reason why this is important for models is because they have to make sure that they are not underweight before their runway. This is quite hard but it can be done if we are mindful of what we eat. Nevertheless, you can always buy it from the online grocery in Malaysia, especially during this global pandemic. But if you get deeper into calorie calculation, you can consume anything as long as it is in moderation.

 

 

Another way is to exercise regularly. Usually, we are advised to exercise at least 60 minutes a day, but if you are about to start, I would suggest starting for 20 minutes at least. Just to warm up your body for a few days. Then only you can exercise longer, this is to prevent your body from getting shocked and I am scared if it happens, you will feel tired as you have pushed yourself too much and you will give up sooner than you thought.

If you would like to follow how models workout, they usually set aside time between their work for Pilates classes and to the gym to focus only on a certain part of the muscles on their bodies. If you are at home right now, and if you feel helpless for not being able to go places like that and not being able to exercise on what I suggested. You can also do workouts without requiring any of that equipment like bench-box jumps, practicing yoga which you can get a lot of videos from Youtube or you can go for the normal jog, enjoying the beauty of nature while working on those leg muscles.

 

 

Lastly, do not listen to the negativities. We are all humans with thoughts and opinions. These negative voices can be from anyone, even our own. For example, other people might comment on our physical appearances that we might find offensive. Or how bad we think of ourselves during this process of improving our lifestyles. All these voices will be there but we have to make sure that our mind is as strong as our body, take what is necessary, and push away the ones that you do not want. Not to forget to be gentle to ourselves as well. If you feel like you need a rest, then have a rest. It will only make it worse if you keep trying to work hard without charging yourself back.

In conclusion, these tips are all the normal healthy lifestyles you can get from anyone. If you can practise and maintain these kinds of lifestyles. I am sure that even if you do not get your body goal, you will feel so much better about yourself and it will decrease the number of diseases that you might occur in the future.
